To date, in my opinion, no one in the U.S. government has done a better job attempting to stabilize the economic and credit crises. The Fed activity and the stimulus do create inflationary fears and I think we will see inflation in 18-24 months. However, I think the inflationary pressures will result from the stimulus and not from Fed activity. They have the ability and the forethought to withdraw dollars when necessary.
Let's hope they can counter-act the stimulus as well.
