I'm not overly optimistic about near-term economic growth but the contrarian in me wonders if this is a sign of a bottom. When the media turns negative, the worst is usually over.
I'm still skeptical and do expect a correction before year-end but I don't see the square-root path here. I see a long, slow process of recovery.
